About the Role and Responsibilities

Location: Santa Clara, CA

About the Role:
McAfee is developing a compelling new consumer digital identity offering with the intent of changing the way users worldwide interact with their digital devices and online services. We are building a team of entrepreneurs that share a strong desire to innovate and impact the way consumers live their digital lives online. We are looking for a Senior CRM Strategy Manager who will report to the Director of Product Marketing and will be responsible for defining, developing, and implementing the CRM program.
This Senior Manager level position will work with Marketing, Sales, Product Development, UX, Engineering and our external agency partners to create an exceptional customer experience. This role will focus on real time learning about our customer – who they are and what they care about – to inform and improve our product, our offering, customer segmentation, and the customer journey. This role will then take these data based insights and develop appropriate messaging, creative campaigns, and marketing programs. This is a unique opportunity to set up the infrastructure in the most beneficial way for a new product to gain deep customer insights, and then implement marketing programs around them.
The ideal candidate has deep CRM experience and has worked across a range of insights, analytics, marketing and product, with a preference given to consumer product and applications expertise. A strong passion for the customer, which can be brought to bear across multiple disciplines within the organization, is a must. Self-starting, creative, hands-on execution, strong collaboration skills, and the desire to redefine and exceed industry best-in-class standards are required for success.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Define and develop the CRM program from the ground up
  • Create and implement strategies to delight our customers from the initial exposure through the lifecycle
  • Create and utilize an infrastructure to analyze customer data to inform product, marketing, and become the single most informed source of our customer
  • Create and continuously evolve our customer segmentation based on customer data
  • Define and maintain a relevant customer journey across the consumer base
    Develop messaging and trigger based email mapping across the customer journey
  • Work closely with product, content, marketing and sales teams to share consumer insights and strategy based on data analysis
  • Create creative campaigns to address customer needs and drive company success

Required Experience/Skills & Education:
  • Bachelor's degree. Master's degree or MBA preferred
12+ years of experience in the following required:
  • Experience running CRM programs with cross-functional partners including strategy definition, business case development, and operational execution
  • Data and insights expertise, cross-discipline experience
  • Strong leadership and motivational skills, responsive and flexible
  • Ability to think strategically one minute and execute tactical details the next
  • Extremely resourceful, highly creative and high energy
  • Demonstrated analytical, problem solving and decision-making abilities
  • Possess the ability to interact and build relationships with multiple people/groups of all levels across the organization
  • Strong analysis, writing, presentation, multi-tasking and communication skills required
